- This is a Chinese name; the family name is Xu (許).
Xu Shao (150 - 195), styled Zijiang (子將), was a famous commentator during the Eastern Han Dynasty. He was born in Runan.
He later served Liu Yao of Yangzhou as an advisor. After Sun Ce drove Liu You out of Moling, Xu Shao advised Liu to seek help from Liu Biao and Cao Cao rather than Wang Lang. He died in 195.
