This is a list of articles in the German wikipedia with at least 3 interwiki links, but no link to the English wikipedia. These are all subjects with at least some international importance (if not, there wouldn't be articles in at least 4 languages), so all of these subjects should have an English article as well.

  • If you can find an article about the same subject in the English wikipedia, add the interwiki link in the German article. You can often find the correct English article by visiting one of the other languages: these may have the correct interwiki link.
  • If you cannot find a corresponding article, perhaps you can translate the article from one of the other wikipedias. A link to a Babelfish translation of the German version is given at the end of each line.
  • If you're reasonably sure there is no English article, but you're not able to create a new article, add a red link to the location where you think the article should be. The original (German) title is given as a suggestion; this will sometimes be the correct English name; most often, it is not. Sometimes multiple possibilities are given as names; these should become redirects (or possibly disambiguation pages with the target article).

This list is not updated automatically, and you cannot see which entries have already been dealt with, so it's important to remove entries when you're done with them.

Last dump: 23 January 2006. This list was categorized by topic on July 11, 2006, when 356 items remained. A list organized by the number of interwikis (which are often no longer accurate), and alphabetical order is available in the history before this date.

[edit] General

  1. de:Agnat - da:Agnat - no:Agnat - ru:?????? - sv:Agnater - perhaps Agnatic kinship (redirects to Patrilineality, but these pages are more complete and discuss the topics separately) - de-en translation
  2. de:Epik - bg:Епос - da:Epik - hu:Epika - lb:Epik - should be Narrative literature - de-en translation
    • Actually, the German distinction between Epik (the general category of narrative poetry in an objective voice) and Epos (the specific literary form of epic poetry) doesn't really exist in English criticism/theory; the word "epic" in English applies to both. Epik does not apply to prose fiction, so "narrative literature" is not really such a great translation; even our stub Narrative poetry is really broader than what the Germans mean, since it mentions ballad. 3. de:Westliche Han-Dynastie - fi:Läntinen Han-dynastia - ja:前漢 - ko:전한 - zh:西汉 - perhaps Western Han Dynasty - de-en translation - redirects to the main Han Dynasty article
  4. de:Westliche Zhou-Dynastie - fi:Läntinen Zhou-dynastia - ko:서주 - no:Det vestlige Zhou-dynasti - zh:西周 - perhaps Western Zhou Dynasty - de-en translation - redirects to the main Zhou Dynasty article
  5. de:Vicke Schorler 1578 - 1625 pen-and-ink artist, see [1]
