These pages will describe a country's participation in a specific year. They will include {{ESC National Year}} as an infobox and be written about the selection process to choose the song, promotion of the song, the song's performance at Eurovision, its reception afterward and any other relevant information about the country's participation that year (controversies, etc).

The above articles are a "Good Article" and are the best examples that the project has. The section headings and content should mirror the formatting and content of these article (choose the most appropriate). In the Greece article, the national selection did not have a name, so "National final" was used. In the case that a country has a name for their national final, use that name for the section heading: ie "Eurosong 2008" as in the Ireland article.
Also, make sure you put songs in "quotes" each time they are named.

Many of the article's needing to be created are for contests that have happened decades ago and it is not always easy to retrieve information. This site has information on most of the past national finals, but use it as a last resort because it is hard to justify using someones personal site for information. It is suggested that you search the archives of news websites such as ESCToday and BBC News and also consider doing a Google search for additional reliable sources. Eurovision's official website also has some information in its "History" section. Other sources may be used too, these are just given as a guideline. If you have any questions on reliable sources, ask on the project's talk page.
As this is a very large project with hundreds of pages, a completed pages section is provided to show the status.
