After reading your and that other guy's comments on its talk page, I reread what I wrote and. The article is not about technology in general. It's about this specific device. This is about a piticular gadget. This article isn't about their supernatural abilities. It's about the device. Their abilities should probably go on their main page. Hi, on the wikiproject Stargate page you wrote that Stargate SG-1 is under peer review. It isn't. The only two articles under review are Stargate (device) and DNA Resequencer (Stargate).
I would have to say that the organization and quality of the DNA article is very good, as good as many FAs. While yes, your point is valid that is not of general interest, look what article appeared on the main page today. If that can be featured DNA resequencer can. As I stated above it is currently under peer review. Do you really think it's not good enough to become an FA? I think it is, it's one of the most comprehensive articles, and probably the largest source on the topic in existance. Why do you think it isn't worthy. Mabe I could fix it? This address is used by ALL schools in Macomb county and all public libraries (or at least most) in Macomb county, which is 1,000's of computers.

- I think I now understand what happened. The diff you provided didn't have an edit summary. So you forced me to rely on the diff to decide which edit was vandalism and which wasn't. Martha Stewart has been one of the most vandalized pages today. I probably misread the diff I saw (using popups by Lupin, both the before and after parts get merged into one column). My apologies.

Hello. Please be courteous to other editors and use edit summaries when updating articles. The Mathbot tool shows your usage of edit summaries to be very low:

[edit] Parliamentary Chamber infobox
I see a disagreement between CJ and Lockesdonkey about creation of a new infobox in the Australian Senate article. I thought the infobox was quite a good assembly of information dispersed throughout the article (some of it not easily found). I note Lockesdonkey's observation that these are used in other legislature pages, though the format is not always standard (compare Bundestag with Scottish Parliament for example). Unless WP has a policy that an infobox should not duplicate information in an article in any way (in which case, there seem to be a lot of info boxes that need removing!), i would favour its retention. I am posting this to both user pages, reverting the removal of the box for now, and await discussion at the Senate talkpage. hamiltonstone 23:26, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

I am leaving you this note because you have edited this article in the past. While vandal-watching today I noticed the removal by CaseyHamMD (talk · contribs) of the entire "Criticism" section. This looked to me like common vandalism, so I reverted it with the rollback tool. Checking the article history, I saw that rollback had reverted a string of 12 edits and, checking them, it was clearly not a case of simple vandalism: on the other hand, the edits showed a pattern of removing properly-sourced criticism and inserting favourable opinions which suggested that CaseyHamMD had a COI and was not editing from a NPOV. He had made one earlier edit of a similar type, which I have also reverted.
He is a new editor, first edit 24 Sep, and his talk page was blank. I have given him a standard welcome paragraph and a note explaining what I have done, outlining relevant WP policies, and inviting him if he wants his changes made to outline them on the article talk page and try to reach consensus.
As I personally know nothing about the subject, I am posting this note to editors who have worked on the article and seem to be still active, so that they can take part in the discussion and/or watch the article.

The fact that the infobox is being misused elsewhere does not make it ok to put it on the Israeli article. It's managed to exist just fine without it for a few months, so I don't see the need to add it. The election is hugely unpredictable - undecided voters are probably at their highest ever, and, as shown at the last elections, polls can be a long way (5+ seats) out, which means that in theory any of the top 4 could win, and any of the next batch could come fifth.
More generally, I do not believe that the infobox is a good thing - I've noted as such on its talk page a couple of times. Unless someone can devise one capable of containing numerous (15-20) parties in manageable format, they are nothing but POV violations. пﮟოьεԻ 57 16:23, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Kucinich: Mayorship versus Mayoralty
I was going to get all snippy about why you changed Mayorship to Mayoralty. I looked up several places and found Mayorship to be a perfectly acceptable word. It wasn't until I looked at this page with definitions that I found that mayorship just means the office of the mayor while mayoralty may also mean the the term of office of Mayor which was the intent in the article. Hi Locky, I note the heading you have put on the page. Terraced housing (single houses built in the 19th and early 20th century in rows with common walls) has been a predominantly British, North American and Australian style but, as you rightly point out, despit the fact that this style originated in Britain during the industrial revolution, there are probably examples from outside the English speaking world. Because this style of housing development was often adopted as a method of cheaply housing huge numbers of industrial workers we also see large numbers of these houses in areas such as the Netherlands, Northern France and Belgium. I would love to see examples on the Terraced House page as well and have invited comments on the talk page.
In most other areas of the planet, the preferred solution to mass housing was the development of multi storey apartments (Germany, Itay, Spain, most Asian Nations) and this was often a result of different legislation in the comminity. A great example is Scotland. Even though Scotland has been part of the United kingdom since the seventeenth century they have maintained their own body of legislation. Unlike England, in Scotland it was possible to own a 'slice of air' such as an apartment three storeys off the ground. In the nineteenth century this enabled the building of huge numbers of very solid tenement apartments, which never occurred in England. As a result you won't find terraced houses in Scotland to the same degree as in England.
In the USA there were also local differences in planning legislation so that, for example Baltimore and Philadelphia are just about wall to wall row houses, yet Chicago in the same period built mostly detached dwellings although very close together.
I would certainly welcome including other language group terraced houses if we can get some contribiutions from non English comminities. Any thoughts on this?

Perhaps it's in the existing refs, I haven't looked. The statement needs to come from an RS as per WP:V or else I guess we need to remove it to avoid WP having an editorial opinion (see WP:OPED). - Hi, I think it is interpretation in the sense that it is WP placing Saudia Arabia somewhere on an implied for or against continuous scale, it kind of implies a contrast with other states and it's not supported by an RS right now (despite probably being true). Saying something straightforward like "opposes" might be simpler and is supported by our refs. Anyway, it's your decision.
