Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the users of Wikipedia who have relayed messages via PointySister (on IRC) with regard to my recent serious illness.

I don't remember too much about it, to be fair. All I remember is having major issues breathing last Thursday night, then I don't remember squat until I woke up Sunday afternoon with a hole in my throat and a ventilator tube attached to it. Apparently my lungs collapsed. I had 2 Chest drains fitted to take the air off my chest.

All this from an attack of Bronchitis. I have been ordered to quit smoking this time. No arguments, no cock ups, this is it.

Secondly, I'd like to take this opportunity to announce my temporary withdrawal from Wikipedia until after Christmas 2008. What has happened to me has really shaken my system and left me weak, sore and tired as hell. I'm in no fit state to do anything really well, between painkillers, antibiotics and my own normal medication which I take for everything else. I am barely able to keep my eyes open most of the time, and I think it best for everyone on WP if I give myself time to completely recover before I come back to work on here.

Thank you all very very much for being so understanding. Have a safe and peaceful christmas, and I'll see you in the early part of the new year.

Seriously, that's just scary...I hope you're getting well and that you have a good holiday (although from what I understand from my friends/family who have quit smoking, having a good ANYTHING is highly unlikely when you're having a nic-fit. I do not appreciate this comment, which I find personally disparaging. What you "imagine my life to be" is irrelevant and that you are "saddened" by your irrelevant musing is insulting. I admit that I did react with irritation to your actions on the Cord lock page. In future, Ttonyb1, take note of whether the page is under current edit, as it was when you tagged it for a quick delete. The criteria for speedy deletion (WP:SPEEDY) explicitly states that Contributors sometimes create articles over several edits, so try to avoid deleting a page too soon after its creation if it appears incomplete. Also, follow the rules and guidelines, as per WP:DELPRO, which include inserting a "good comment in the reason for deletion field". Your comment ("Marked for Speedy Deletion"), does not meet this guideline in any way at all. Since you seem to spend a lot of time tagging articles for deletion, it may be a good idea to actually read the policies in relation to deletion tagging. ► RATEL ◄ 09:52, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Given that we're dealing with a single disruptive editor who's ignoring what looks to be a consensus it is fairly normal practice for editors representing the consensus view to spread the reverts to demonstrate that its not a one-on-one dispute though. Ah no, I wasn't on freenode when that was discussed, just saw it implemented from a distance. It's only logical that AR's get full rights, we've always been relaxed about granting rights at en.wikinews, imho. I originally came from here and spent quite some time on wikinews but now have shifted my attention once again.

I've had previous experience with this user. All of his sockpuppets have a variation on Teletubbies or a Disney movie in the title and his target articles are generally the same, e.g., Teletubbies and Disney movies. I left the talk page open in case of an error on my part, in which case I can immediately unblock the account. He sometimes won't answer once he's caught and as of now, he still hasn't. You might want to check with User:Collectonian as well. She does a lot of editing on animation and has even more experience than I do with Bambifan. Hope this helps and if you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. I only just got my own admin rights restored after giving them back a couple of years ago under non-controversial circomstances. Hi Iceflow, I just read your statements at Jimbo's talk page. Here's one thing I can assure you from my experience at DE-WP: Flagged revs have no influence on vandalism at all, vandalism hasn't declined. Also, it still needs to be reverted asap. You should know the following:

Flagged Revisions = software extension that allows pages to be flagged. That was subject of the poll recently conducted.
Flagged Protection = policy proposal that requires Flagged Revisions to be turned on.

I'm afraid you are mistaken. I create several articles at the same time in multiple tabs, and save page when I have finished doing so. The articles were created over a three hour span - while half-asleep, watching the basketball - just saved at the same time after I have finished writing them all. Hey Thor. You said I can contact you. Combined IP adress :70.121.204.57 and red link User:Meoconne repeatedly revert edits at Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show‎ and Komondor dog breed. I think this all together qualifies as Wikipedia:Edit war, disruptive editing, [1], [2]copright violation, [3], bias, non-NPOV edits Wikipedia:Neutral point of view and [4] sockpuppetry by same editor, new red link user all editing the same articles, Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show‎ Komondor and Alpha Omega Epsilon. Why would anyone remove this edit from the Komondor article:

No upper heigt limit is given.ref Kutyarár Hungarian newspaper.</ref? And other relevant and sourced edits such as average height. This is insane.
