No problem. By the way _NOTOC_ is the command for forcing a TOC to be absent. Also I notice that you are a mathematician. Might I trouble you by asking you an appropriate ToC for this wikibook. Regards--Shahab (talk) 14:09, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- That ToC is incomplete and haphazard. I wanted to know your opinion about a suitable Toc for this book. Preferabily a list of topics you think form the core of combinatorics. Regards--Shahab (talk) 10:00, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
[edit] International System of Units
At least you did it quickly there! If you haven't already, see my talk page for other comments, I will try to reply on the article talk page as well concerning the previous issues. Physchim62 (talk) 18:12, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- In fact, the use of commas isn't standard all over the world, which is why it's normal in the physical sciences to use spaces between the groups of three numbers. There is a (quite heated) debate going on at the moment about this very subject at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (dates and numbers)#Delimiting numbers if you want to join in. You probably know this better than me. Do you feel like doing it? Simplifix (talk) 22:20, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] map-germ
Hi - I think you used to be Dharma6662000 - is that right? Anyway, I have rewritten most of the article Germ (mathematics) in a way that (I think) incorporates what's in the map_germ article. Would you be happy with replacing that map_germ page with a redirect? (I think the main difference is just that map_germ assumes the source and target are manifolds, whereas I don't, but I don't think that makes it more obscure.) Simplifix (talk) 18:10, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
- The map germ article does seem to be contained in the Germ (mathematics) article, and the latter seems to be a much better article. I think that map germ article should be replaced with a redirect. Δεκλαν Δαφισ (talk) 10:59, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
