National Innovative Enterprises

After a two-year long trial period, PR China's Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) named 91 out of the 103 innovative firms and named them "National Innovative Enterprises".
The government selected the first 103 trial innovative firms, all of which have patented technologies and well-known brands, a strong international competitive edge and technological sustainable development potential, in July 2006.
In the future 3 to 5 years from 2008, there would be 500 enterprises of its kind.
