ND HiT Gorica is a Slovenian association football (soccer) club, playing in the town of Nova Gorica. They have won the Slovenian League championship in 1996 and for three seasons, beginning in 2003-2004. Until 2003 the club was called HIT Gorica.

The history of football in Goriska region goes back to the year 1907, when the first football club "Jugoslavija" was formed.
October 1947 marks the beginning of the club with the foundation of "Gorica Club" in Sempeter pri Gorici, where it operated until 1963 when the club's activity was transferred to Nova Gorica, which has remained its seat ever since.
After the declaration of Slovenia's independence in 1991 the club played in the First League under the name HIT GORICA and during the season 1995/96 won the National Championship for the first time. In the seasons that followed, 2000/01, 2001/02 the club became the Cup Winner of Slovenia. Gorica also won National Championship in 2003/2004, 2004/2005, 2005/2006.
In June 2004 the club was awarded the UEFA Licence.
