Die (French: Die pronounced dee [di]; Occitan: Diá [ˈdjɔ]) is a commune, former episcopal see and sub-prefecture of the Drôme department in southeastern France.

Cathedral

Die is best known for the Clairette de Die, a sparkling wine. It was a county in the High Middle Ages. The famous trobairitz Beatritz de Diá was probably a daughter of Count Isoard II.
