Chi-X

Chi-X is an order-driven pan-European equity exchange, or Multilateral trading facility (MTF). It is an alternative exchange and trades equities that are listed on primary exchanges such as the London Stock Exchange, Frankfurt Stock Exchange, Euronext and OMX. On Wednesday, 22nd April 2009, Chi-X announced about opening a dark pool Chi-Delta. [1]
It is a subsidiary of Instinet, which is itself a subsidiary of Nomura Holdings.

The Chi-X uses Linux servers to run its MarketPrizm trading platform software.[2]
