Berlin Alexanderplatz is a railway station in Berlin city centre and is one of the city's most important interchange points for local public transport. Four regional train lines and the S-Bahn lines S5, S7, S75 and S9 call at the overground station, and the underground station is one of the largest on the Berlin U-Bahn network, with the lines U2, U5 and U8 calling. The station is also served by four tram lines, two of which run continuously, as well as five bus lines during the day, one of which runs continuously and three night bus lines.

The station is named for the square on which it is located, close to the Berlin Fernsehturm and the World Time Clock.
