Aleksanteri Institute

The Aleksanteri Institute (Finnish: Aleksanteri-instituutti), affiliated with the University of Helsinki, is a Finland's centre of research of Eastern Europe and Russia. In was founded in 1996, director Markku Kivinen (as of 2008).[1]
Among other publications, the institute issues the peer reviewed Aleksanteri Series of anthologies and textbooks, printed by the institute's publishing house Kikimora Publications.
